Product Review: Yogi Tea, Sweet Thai Delight

Product Review: Yogi Tea, Sweet Thai Delight
5 out of 5 stars

This is a great caffeine-free tea you can enjoy any time.  The base is redbush (rooibos), but cinnamon, anise, and cardomom, along with stevia, make this a light and very flavorful tea.  It also has a hint of coconut flavor and butterscotch, so it is almost like having tea and dessert all rolled into one.  You can enjoy it with or without a dash of milk or  soy milk. If you made it with all milk, it would be great as a light, refreshing chai at any time, and perfect with thai food.

Product Review: Avon NATURALS Lip Balm Vanilla

Product Review: Avon NATURALS Lip Balm Vanilla
Price: $0.99
5.0 out of 5 stars
Quite tasty, very smooth

I liked this lip balm in a stick because it goes on nice and smooth, easily, not sticky. It makes your lips feel really moist but not glued together. It is not too heavy, and kissable, and holds up pretty well with food and drink. The vanilla taste is nice too, not too cloying or artificial. I use it every day, several times a day, and the tube is still going strong. Excellent value for the money.

It also comes in a really great raspberrry flavor. I bought mine through the Amazon Avon store, so prices may be different elsewhere, but it came promptly and the shipping was really reasonable as well.

Book Review: To Marry the Duke by Julianne Maclean

1.0 out of 5 stars Really wooden

The dialogue creaks and churns, the ‘spark’ between the couple flickers and dies, and the two people are really not very likeable. James is wooden, a duke who does what all day? They are supposed to be betrothed for two months, yet the supposed sizzle is contained for that long? And they hardly know each other, we never get to see his family?

The whole blackmail thing is predictable and trite.

James’ cruelty is inexusable, as is his lack of explanaion to his wife.
The whole latter half of the book is a tragedy of errors and
I can’t honestly say I know enough about these characters at the end to be interested in them enough to figure out why they fell in love. Or care.

Her second book is a lot better, sexy and witty. This one was passable, a tried and tested formula that in this case has the emotional intensity of a log.
